My first visit to Ghana awakened a profound connection to history, identity, and purpose. As a Black American woman with limited knowledge of my ancestry, the experience felt like reconnecting with a missing part of my story. Returning to serve, learn, and immerse myself in local life transformed that journey into a calling. That experience inspired Journey With Purpose, a platform for travel that combines cultural connection, service, and meaningful impact.
